The marine, coastal, sports and tourism services company Proactiva, dedicated to the lifeguard on beaches, has created NGO Proactiva Open Arms, who is developing a magnificent humanitarian work in the Greek island of Lesbos, one of the most affected areas by the current immigration crisis, to rescue refugees.
You can contribute to this charitable work with donations through its website, www.proactivaopenarms.org. Thanks to these donations the organization will have two new rescue boats, fully equipped for day and night rescue tasks. The aim is to expand the team to be present on the island of Chios, where over a thousand refugees are arriving daily.
The organization has organized a charity evening including dinner and concert at the Badalona port, for next November 14th.
