The "design et al" magazine has shortlisted Marcelo Penna Yacht Design in one of the categories of the renowned International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2015 for yacht design. The company associated with Barcelona Clúster Nàutic is a finalist in the category ‘Sailing Yacht over 30 Metres’ for the design of the Lamima, an Indonesian gaff-ketch traditional phinisi.
The jury especially praised the designer for the combination of tradition and detail. The British publication indicated that "the deck space would rival any modern yacht" and that Marcelo Penna's design has managed to turn the ship into a genuine luxury vessel.
The result will be announced on 15 May at the Cirpiani Hotel in Venice. Barcelona Clúster Nàutic would like to congratulate Marcelo Penna and to wish our associate the best of luck in the awards.
