The Cluster has actively participated as an intermediary agent in the project led by Cluster Development: “Competitiveness Improvement Initiative for the Nautical Sector Value Chain in Catalonia.” This strategy aims to leverage the challenge of decarbonization to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the Catalan nautical sector.
Through this initiative, innovative solutions are being promoted to facilitate the transition towards a more sustainable sector, aligned with global environmental goals and the growing demand for cleaner technologies.
This project aims to improve the competitiveness of the nautical sector in Barcelona and Catalonia, contributing to consolidating the region as a benchmark in innovation and sustainability. It is part of the legacy projects promoted by public administrations within the framework of the America’s Cup, with the support of ACCIÓ (Government of Catalonia) and Barcelona Activa (Barcelona City Council).
With this initiative, the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic reinforces its commitment to innovation and sustainability, positioning itself as a key player in the evolution of the nautical sector towards a greener and more competitive economy.
