On Sunday 8 September, we successfully organized the Barcelona Nautical Summit, an exclusive event held in the Port of Barcelona, during the 37th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup.
Thanks to the collaboration of Port Vell Barcelona and the Salón Naútico of Barcelona, more than a hundred nautical companies came together at this event, highlighting the great work carried out by the Barcelona sector in recent years.
During the Barcelona Nautical Summit, our president, Ignacio Erroz, highlighted that “local authorities perceive our economic activity to be a strategic element that generates great value for the city of Barcelona.” He pointed out that “the creation of the Cluster has allowed us to work as a group in such relevant areas as competitiveness, the positioning of the Barcelona brand on the international nautical scene, innovation, training, and sustainability.”
Other leaders in the sector also attended the Barcelona Nautical Summit, including the president of the Port of Barcelona, Lluís Salvadó; the director of Port Vell, David Pino; and the president of the Boat Show, Luis Conde.
