The mission of Barcelona Clúster Nàutic is to favour and promote the development of economic and business activities that boost competitiveness in the water sports sector and permit generation of wealth and job creation at a high level.

Responding to the needs of existing training by adapting study plans in line with the main trends and facilitating links between companies, universities and training centres, in order to boost knowledge.
Implementing actions to foment the water sports industry, consolidated segments and growth, as well as emerging niches in the market and other strategic lines of business.
Increasing local supply of local services for yacht activity, taking advantage of its potential to drive and stimulate a range of sub-sectors and activities, as well as its being a source of indirect spending that is reinvested in the city
Achieving excellence in local businesses and promoting collaboration between them, boosting new management systems and models and vigorously incorporating ICTs and other tools for corporate development.
Working to simplify legislation and advance towards a legal environment that facilitates business development, proposing improvements in its running or ways to streamline formalities and make procedures more flexible.
