The Barcelona Activa BlueUp program aims to support the creation and growth of companies that are part of the city's Blue Economy sector: the nautical sector, fishing, blue tourism, shipbuilding, biotechnology blue or marine renewable energies.
The program will choose 15 projects and will last 3 months. During this time the projects will have training, support, mentoring and personalized activities. At the end of the process, the projects with the most potential will be awarded.
The program is led by the Barcelona City Council from Barcelona Activa and has the support of the Port de Barcelona, Costa Cruceros and with the collaboration of the UPC, Seastainble Ventures, aticco and the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic.
